
Hayden Nix

Hayden Nix is an Internal Medicine resident at Dalhousie University. He received a B.Sc. (Hons) in pharmacology from McGill University in 2016, and an M.A.Sc. in biomedical engineering from Dalhousie University in 2018. He joined the team in 2019 while working towards an M.D. at Western University. Since then, he has received a M.St. in practical ethics from the University of Oxford and a M.D. from Western University in 2023. Throughout his time on our team, Hayden has contributed to multiple projects exploring ethical issues in pragmatic and cluster randomized trials. He is particularly passionate about ethical issues in clinical practice and research involving older adults. Hayden is currently working on a project that aims to clarify the definition of a cluster-level intervention. Outside of academics, Hayden is a former varsity lacrosse player trying to stay active in retirement and enjoys playing pickleball, squash, and hockey.
