Anand is a medical student at Western University. Under the direction of Dr. Weijer, Anand is involved in projects concerning ethical and methodological challenges in cluster-randomized control trials. Anand grew up in Hamilton, Ontario, where he received a B.Arts Sc. from McMaster University’s Arts & Science program. Following his first year of medical school, he completed a Master’s in Practical Ethics at the University of Oxford, through the Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics. Anand’s research interests include questions regarding resource allocation and research in low-resource settings. Outside of school, Anand enjoys playing soccer, and formerly played for Western's Varsity soccer team.
