Eric Walser is a 2nd year Critical Care Medicine fellow as well as general surgeon/ trauma team leader at Western University/ London Health Sciences Center. He grew up in Thunder Bay, completing his undergraduate degree in Physiology at Western in 2013, his medical degree at the University of Toronto in 2017, and General Surgery training at Western in 2022. After being involved in a variety of research projects as a resident he developed an interest in the application of ethical principles in critical care and surgical trials, as well as improving ethics education within postgraduate medical education. Eric is currently leading with our research team a systematic review of reporting of ethical issues and methods in cluster randomized trials with critical ill patients in the hospital setting.
